Thanksgiving this year was very relaxing and enjoyable. Dan was adamant about cooking his own turkey fest and I couldn't complain - his turkey is delicious. So we invited a few couples over for dinner. I made my first ever pumpkin pie and it looked really strange coming out of the fridge from the night before. I was so afraid of how it would taste, but it wasn't too bad - not minding the strange coloring, it tasted pretty good. Lesson learned: when making something for the first time, it is probably better to try it out on your own family first before making it for a dinner party; especially when it's something that really counts, like pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.
