Michael is starting to talk. He can now say, ball, bubble, and bones- referring to the box of real bones we have in our basement for Dan's studying purposes. He also says a variety of other words, like wow, please, ma ma, daah- for Dad (don't know where he got that from) and his favorite of all time "uh oh." He loves to hide things and stick his arms out with palms up as if to say, "where is it?" Today we found a lady bug in the grass and I put it on his hand. It crawled around for a bit and then fell off into the grass and we couldn't find it. Michael kept putting his arms out waiting for me to bring it out from it's hiding place. Still don't know where it went.
Michael also loves bubbles. He stands by the door with the bottle in his hands waiting to go out about 3 times a day. Whenever he sees bubbles in his book he looks for his bottle of bubbles, and if he happens to see the bottle of bubbles around the house he demands to blow them. He's gotten pretty good at dipping the wand in and blowing the bubbles himself, and most of the time he's pretty good at not spilling them. Today, however, he ended up dumping half of the bubbles out when he was angry he had his hat on, and then the other half when he was looking for the lady bug in the grass. I usually don't give him the bottle. Good thing we still have 7 more though. :)
